Tons of Free Online Games - A New Twist

The excitement and the enjoyment offered by game parlors is very different to the level of enjoyment offered by online flash game. We cannot compare the excitement delivered by playing at game parlors with online games. Ask them those who have played in game arcades and you will see they cannot deny entertainment they have have just had. On the other hand flash games vividly bringing alive the superficial impression but beyond that lies the several benefits we can derive from this entertainment form.

Educational games are highly underestimated, most of the people who head towards entertainment sites almost always end up having several choices where they must pick the right category in order to get the form of entertainment they are looking for. It is also true that most of the people choose board games because they are common and they know how to play them; the least visited applications in an entertainment site reside within the educational category.

It is true that when people hear the word "educational" they don't often link it to any activity which might give them a certain degree of enjoyment but to young kids, they are as fun and as productive as they could possibly be. At their young and immature age, children have a mental capacity unlike any other, since their brains is developing and actively adding more layers it can absorb almost anything thrown at it, that is why teaching a second, third or even fourth language to a child at that age is very easy. Learning how to use the computer is a no brainer as well, this is where gaming sites come in handy.

Recently, a popular video has been going around the web which shows a young girl in her early years (2-3 years old) and she can not only recognize all the estates within the USA but she can locate them on a map! At such early age their parents taught her not only geographical facts related to this country but they also taught her the names and locations of the rest the countries around the globe. The most amazing thing is that she can locate each county without missing one. In a second video their parents explained that since they both were teachers they tested a new teaching method on her young daughter which included the use of the web and gaming sites to teach their daughter facts which are well beyond her years. If you have young kids this might be the best teaching method where they can have fun and acquire knowledge which will be of use to them later on their lives. How's that for a gaming site new twist?

Play Free Online Games - Do They Train our Kids for War?

Ever since games became available in the late seventies and early eighties to the masses they have caught the attention of millions of people who became addicted to their innovative interface and rapidly changing technology. Parent's bought these games because they represented a nice gift for kids and teens who have always been fascinated with entertainment and technology related items. Children and teens on the other hand thought of them as a good way to kill their free time.

The first few graphics Nintendo games featured were not very realistic so any killing or war game was pretty much innocent, but as technology evolved so did the graphics, consoles and variety. Today we have free games available through the internet as well as stand alone and portable consoles, which has completely changed the rules of the game sort to speak.

Nowadays, we have kids and teenagers of all ages playing games almost all the time, this is why parents have grown concerned of the types of games they play. The internet has made available thousands of flash games at no cost at all, so anyone can access them and spend hours browsing through them, some of the most visited categories are action and war games, these are violent in nature and portray several "killings" as they advance from level to level, the fact is that most players are not thinking about the killing they are doing in the game but instead they want to overcome all obstacles to using the resources given to them, just like when they play super Mario or Donkey Kong.

With today's international problems several parents have formulated the idea that these games are intended to train kids for war, the fact of the matter is that if they are playing these games online they have several other choices such as board games, racing, cards, puzzle, memory, strategy, and so on, in other words they will not become fixated in just one type of game due to the variety. On the other hand parents who buy expensive games to play in stand alone consoles at home might indeed be feeding this mentality to their children because purchased games go to a different level, the violence and graphic nature makes them too intense so it is important to read the warnings and recommended age labels that each one has.

Online games will never reach the negative graphic nature console games have but the most important fact is to remember that as parents you have the power to guide your kids and organize their free time. Compared to consoles, online games are a healthy way for kids, teenagers and young adults to entertain themselves while keeping their sanity intact!

Free Addicting Online Games For the Win

The web is full of games which may grab your attention because of their previews of because of their descriptions, the fact is that some of them may be bad, others will be good and just a handful are completely addicting. Bad games are those which offer extremely poor graphics or don't have several levels of difficulty which pretty much kill your enthusiasm in the spot, good games are those which have really good graphics and several levels but lack a few features to make them perfect. Addicting ones on the other hand, are those which provide exceptional quality, have several levels, bonus areas and may even involve actual money. This last classification is applied to games such as Warcraft, Doom, Half Life, F.E.A.R., and a few others.

While the games quoted all have awesome graphics there is another niche which lacks the enhanced graphics element and can be equally or even more addictive for adults and young adults than the ones already mentioned. Those games are casino games, these are often played with dices, cards, pieces which are low-tech but have been around for centuries, they have survived against any other game and have made it to the internet, once they got in their popularity spread like wild fire on a dried up forest.

The fact that these games involve actual money is what keeps people trying to find a good method to "crack the code" sort to speak, in order to make a lot of money and just like we all imagine, there can be nothing better than to make truck-loads of money while playing an addicting game; that's the reason Vegas thrives!

Playing casino games can make us lots of money but they can also break our bank account if we are unable to control our addiction to them, that is why it is always recommended that before you head towards Vegas or any other casino for that matter, you must master the game you want to make money on, whether it is blackjack, Poker, roulette, or any other game which can be found in a casino. If you don't have a way to practice at home, but do have a computer and an internet connection then you are all set! Find the game your want to master and spend some time playing against the computer, this way you will think of your own strategy to better your odds. Roulette is a game which can be quite addicting because many people do make money of it, but it has been said that quickly studying the law of averages can help you improve your chances to win, that's if you don't have enough money to place a bet in all numbers.

Trial and error is the key to success, just remember to practice on free online games instead of the actual casino, this will help you think clearly and help you control your addiction.

Free Games - Dragon Ball Style

A quick search in Google shows that there are several gaming sites which target the word "free" when in fact they are paid services, not only do they advertise to the wrong market they make things difficult for the surfer who has a few minutes to spare and wants to have some fun during his/her leisure time.

Today's gaming world has evolved from the stand alone console mentality into the vast world of the net, gaming applications which were popular back in the late 90's and first few years of this decade have now become available to the world without a subscription or any kind of fee. This is surely a gamer's heaven. Popular free games such as Pokemon, Super Mario, Donkey Kong, have all invaded the net with their action/strategy scheme but a game which became an all time classic due to the animation it is based on is Dragon Ball.

Dragon ball is an successful animation which was launched in 1986 in Japan, it was based on the manga adaptation by Akira Toriyama who developed this action packed story into hundreds of half hour episodes. The main characters of the original series are Goku, Bulma, Roshi, Kuirin, Piccolo, etc. The story revolves around the fact that Goku is a powerful fighter who encounters many skilled opponents in ninja tournaments which turn out to be quite spectacular by the display of powers.

On later episodes, Goku meets his rival and future friend Vegeta who just like himself is one of the few surviving Saiyans who survived the destruction of their home planet by fleeing from it to distant planets. The battles are fierce and Goku fights to protect earth becoming stronger each time. His special abilities are: super strength, super speed, teleportation, energy blast (kamehameha), super Saiyan (2,3,4)

Because of its popularity many Dragon ball games were made available to online communities where Goku has once again to take on Vegeta, Freezer and the many foes he fought in the anime series. The popularity of this game grew as several versions were released to cover the characters introduced in later seasons such as Dragon ball Z and GT.

The online version called Power Levels is just one of many which shows Goku in super Saiyan mode fighting against a strong Vegeta another free online version of the game is called "dimension" where you have more flexibility to choose the fighters, in this version you can fight as Piccolo, Gohan or Goku and your opponents can be Cell, Vegeta or Freezer. Whoever you decide to battle remember that free game versions of this great saga are waiting for you all over the web.

Online Arcade vs. Offline Arcade

Anyone who has ever been on the internet should at least have basic knowledge of arcade websites. The idea behind them is really simple. There are a lot of bored people in the world. If you’re bored, you want to play something fun. Therefore, you go to a website that has free games to play so you can waste a little time. A free online arcade is a good choice for a little entertainment during your hours of boredom.

There are many benefits to using an online arcade for your recreation time. The first is rather obvious. An online arcade is free. You can’t do much better than playing games for free. Just look at the current state of most other games. If you go to a traditional arcade, you are going to end up paying a lot of money. They will literally nickel and dime you until you’re digging that last quarter out of your pocket to beat the next level. It’s a good rush, until you realize that you somehow spent 20 dollars and have almost nothing to show for it. The same could be said about normal video games. You will either need a special gaming console or an advanced computer to play many of the new releases. Unless you just have a lot of money burning a hole in your pocket, you should probably look for a cheaper alternative. An online arcade should do just that. The games may not have the best graphics or story. They are what they are. They’re nice, little games that are fun to play without draining a lot of your computer’s resources.

Cost isn’t the only big benefit to playing games in an online arcade. Unfortunately, there are few video games currently available that are truly just pick-up-and-play games. Most video games will require a large time commitment that just isn’t practical for all of your gaming sessions. There are times when you will just want to pick up a quick arcade game that you can beat in 10 or 20 minutes. Not every game needs to be an in-depth role-playing experience which will last for 80 hours. Quick gratification can be very nice. Although, flash arcades shouldn’t be completely stereotyped as having a bunch of little flash games for quick sessions. Many websites offer ways to save your game files so that you can pick it up the next day and finish. This is especially important since it allows for these sites to offer more advanced games that are still accessible to the arcade player. Specifically, there are many little role-playing games designed to be played in little sessions over the course of a week or a month. This way, you will receive the best of both worlds in your arcade experience. You can have a game with a good story and real character development, which is still accessible for those few minutes at the end of your break.

As you can see, anyone should be able to easily fit a little online arcade time into their day. Once you find a good site, you will be able to have some good times with just a few mouse clicks.

Free Flash Online Arcades

Free flash arcades may seem a little intimidating for a new user. If someone really wants to enjoy the entertainment that an online arcade may provide, then they just need to have a little extra help. Understanding the many different categories of games and who they may interest is probably the first step in actually enjoying arcade games.

I will start with a simple genre. The action genre is one of the most popular for flash games. Their premise can easily be viewed as just changes on a lot of the old classics. In fact, many just change the basic structure of the old Mario adventures to make for a quick and fun internet game. Action games are generally very easy to play too. They are often just based off of keyboard controls. You just press the right key to make your character move, grab coins, fight bad guys, etc. The concept should be easy to grasp and you’ll usually have multiple lives to get used to the interface.

Branching off from this would be shooter games. These are also very simple. They often just boil down to a shooting range with some cool effects. Most true shooters rely on using the mouse to move the crosshair and shoot all of the bad guys before they shoot you. This is another simple genre to understand, and any new user should be able to enjoy a little mindless fun on one of these. If you need justification, you can remember that playing shooting games helps develop your reaction speed and your eyesight.

Things start to get a little complicated from this point onwards. Another genre is the adventure game. There are actually a surprising number of good role-playing games that will give something extra to the player. Many of these are just a variant of good puzzle games. You will have to use logic to figure out how to solve a series of quests and puzzles in a fantasy world. Movement is usually keyboard based and you will benefit most from having a unique thinking process. Anyone who used to play the old 2D games should also feel a good sense of nostalgia.

Defense games are another popular genre. They can either be action or strategy based in nature. A defense game is based on one objective. You just have to protect your home, castle, anthill, temple, etc. from all of the bad guys who want to get in and destroy it. An action based defense game relies on your quick reflexes to throw little invaders around with your hand of god, or for you to quickly place your own defenders in the path of the invaders. There are several games that are based more on strategy. These present you with a variety of monsters. In these games, you will have to use several different structures and strategies to outlast the onslaught. You will receive points for each kill that can be used to upgrade the structures. I will warn you, these games are very addictive and you can easily lose several hours playing one.

These are just some of the types of arcade games available through standard online arcade websites. It would be impossible to cover every variation, but most will fall into this general set. May you have the best of luck with your future gaming.
